Description: Le Son du Swing is a collective of musicians based in Southern France who share a common passion for ‘jazz manouche’ or ‘Gypsy Jazz’. The undisputed master of this musical genre, Django Reinhardt, influences the songs they perform along with a multitude of other contemporary ‘manouches’ musicians including Mandino Reinhardt, Tchavolo Schmitt, Angelo Debare, Novel etc. The line-up of the group is inspired by and celebrates the “Quintet du Hot club de France”. Their love of gypsy jazz, quality of playing and good humour promise to make this concert a fitting end to Club Butel’s 2010 season. Book early!
