Our winery ”Les Vignerons du Sommiérois” was born of the fusion of three cooperative wineries and occupies 700 hectares in the townships of Sommières, Salinelles, Aspères, Campagne and Garrigues. Our wine-growers work in the utmost respect of the land and the environment to create quality wines, strong in personality, bringing out the best of their land and their know-how. In our winery, offering wines for sales as well as tastings, we respect the charter and standards of the ”Maître Chais du Gard”.

Halfway between Nîmes and Montpellier, the small town of Sommières has guarded the centuries long traditions of it’s rich heritage, nestled at the foot of rolling hills, along the banks of the Vidourle, for more than 2,000 years. The medieval city, it’s chateau with it’s majestic tour still open to visitors, as well as the roman bridge constructed in the 1st century during the reign of the emperor Tibère, and above all it’s rich landscape of green vines create it’s truly singular charm.
