Domaine Virgile Joly – wine growers with a penchant for elegance
Virgile Joly embodies a new generation of wine growers with a penchant for elegance rather than “fruit up-front” wines. In the tradition of the appellation of Coteaux du Languedoc – Saint Saturnin – the domaine is faithfully attached to using old, established practises integrated with modern methods of vinification; such as grape destemming and temperature controlled fermentation….. The wines are made from grenache, carignan, syrah and cinsault, native grape varieties that are particularly suited to the climate.
