Survive France Network
The Survive France Network is now one year old and has around 1400 registered users.
There are over 40 special interest groups including one for the Languedoc-Roussillon area, where members can get to know other anglophones in the region.
SFN is a place where members can network online and increasingly, members are organising lunchtime and evening events where they can meet up in person. Membership is entirely free, the only requirement is that members use their real name which, as network creator James Higginson explains, ‘helps foster an open minded, friendly and helpful atmosphere.’ There is also an SF Facebook page where network members are free to promote their services and publicise their events. The page currently has around 2000 fans and is rapidly becoming known as a source of useful information for anyone interested in France.
Above all, SFN is fun! The instant chat feature allows people all over the world to connect with each other and if you’ve got a question, there is bound to be someone on SFN who will be able to answer it. So come on and join in, by signing up HERE !
