WOW-What’s on in Hérault
It has been estimated that there are as many as 30,000 Anglophones who live in and around Herault*. Numbers which swell to 3.5 million in the Region of Languedoc Roussillon in the summer.
Many have only a slight knowledge of the French language and few take the local papers, magazines of watch local Television or listen to Local Radio. WoW has a mission to ensure Anglophones know about – so they can enjoy – all the rich diversity of culture and events the region offers.
The WoW website aims to provide a comprehensive listing service, covering not only the big events but also small and interesting village fairs and customs. WoW is dedicated to helping Anglophones integrate and enjoy their time in the area.
WoW also provides a weekly English Language What’s On service on local radio RPH FM and provides information to national newspapers acting as a local Anglophone news agency.
